Woodcube

The table Wood Cube stems from the desire to set up a low table, characterized by morphological flexibility to be used in a living space. It is inspired by the morpheme/model represented by geometric cube. Together with the director identified by the shape of the cube, another conceptual element trace the character of the table: the use of wood (a renewable resource) interpreted through three choices: wenge; oak; birch.

From the constructive point of view it consists of nine cubes of 40 cm side which have different configurations formal: full closed, opened empty, half-full open, braided closed. These cubes are resting on a base of 140x140 cm and on these is placed a crystal plate. The base is divided, by a decoration schematic into nine boxes (the traces of the cubes) and on it is written the name of the table "wood cube". This constitutes an artistic panel that can be used independently from the table, as well as nine cubes that can "live" in a mode "else" separately from the base, become if necessary containers for uses diversified configuring other scenarios use.

The morphological flexibility expressed by the opportunity to choose alternative combinations between different cubes, allows you to "build" their own table and to customize both formal and chromatic combinations, but it is mainly aimed at outlining a playful dimension, inviting the user to play with the complement of furniture
